Suitable climate is a natural resource and great economic wealth for tourism and it is an element providing attractions for tourists leading to satisfaction as well as an increase in the number of tourists. This study was done within Mashhad which is located in Khorasan Razavi province. The method which was used in the study was survey method and library materials to gather data. This study examined Mashhad’s tourism climate by using Baker Thermal Comfort Index (CPI), Effective Temperature (ET), and Evans model. Each of the mentioned indicators in a month period scale was calculated using the temperature parameters, relative humidity, and Mashhad’s wind station during the years 1380 to 1390. The results showed that according to Evans model, Mashhad’s daily climate conditions in July and August are warm and its nightly climate conditions in April, May, October, November, December, January, February, and March are cold. Thermal comfort is dominated in the city of Mashhad during the day in April, May, June, September, and October and during the night in June, July, and August. Based on this model, June is the best time to travel with a comfortable climate conditions during both day and night. In effective temperature index, May, June, July and August and in Baker’s human index, April, May, June, August and September are in environmental comfort conditions that are appropriate for tourism Mashhad.In general, by comparing the general indicators examined in this study, it can be said that the months of April, May, June, August and September have the best conditions for tourism and leisure time over the cited years in Mashhad.
