Abstract

The main objective of this study was to investigate the relation between CULTURAL CAPITAL and SOCIAL PARTICIPATION of FEMALE TEACHERS in Miandoab city. The statistical population included 1500 FEMALE TEACHERS. Using a stratified random sampling method, they were classified to primary, guidance and high school proportionally. By using the researcher-made question naire technique, required data were collected. By using computer soft wares (SPSS) the data was set out and analyzed and the results are as follows:According to data the SOCIAL PARTICIPATION was high and the amount of CULTURAL CAPITAL is average also, the contribution of both embodied and objectified aspects is average but the institutional CULTURAL CAPITAL is below average. Thus, there is a straight and meaningful relationship between both SOCIAL PARTICIPATION and CULTURAL CAPITAL variables.
