Abstract

The purpose of this research was to predicate maladaptive schema based on FAMILY PROCESS and FAMILY CONTENT, two main dimensions of the FAMILY PROCESS and content model. The sample consisted of 400 adolescents age ranged between 15 to 17 years old. All participants filled out Self-report FAMILY CONTENT Scale, Self-report FAMILY PROCESS scale, and Yang Schema questionnaire. The results showed FAMILY PROCESS and FAMILY CONTENT are significant predictors for adolescents maladaptive schema. In sum, the results revealed that a significant role for family in adolescent maladaptive schema.
