Abstract

Introduction: VALUE ENGINEERING, VALUE ANALYSIS in the healthcare industry with known, is now a strategic tool to reduce the costs of purchasing and materials value chain has become. This study aimed to identify and determine the VALUE ENGINEERING applications in the health care system.Methods: This study was a narrative review articles and reports on the VALUE ENGINEERING study between 1996 and 2016 scientific websites and online data bases Emerald, Science Direct, Civilica, Springer, reference knowledge, Iran Value, books, publications and conferences. We have to search internal and external value of engineering.Results: This study confirms the fact that the VALUE ANALYSIS or VALUE ENGINEERING, lean savings opportunities can be discovered, was very efficient and effective organization focus on the most vital areas of the guide.Conclusion: The application of VALUE ANALYSIS or VALUE ENGINEERING can effective health care become a management tool to reduce costs and improve quality and the organization focuses on the most critical areas of the guides.
