Abstract

 The common perception of educational TECHNOLOGY is that of a device utilized to reach certain objectives, that transfers theoretical concepts into practice alones. Philosophical interpretation of TECHNOLOGY, make one realize that TECHNOLOGY is far beyond its instrumental mechanism. Thus, the nature of TECHNOLOGY is debatable subject. Philosophers believe that TECHNOLOGY is the science of tools and their applications. However, Sociologists have the belief that TECHNOLOGY is under the influence of social phenomena. In this article, following the introduction of TECHNOLOGY and nature, a brief history of the evolution of this discipline is expressed. Then different views of TECHNOLOGY/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">PHILOSOPHY OF TECHNOLOGYis discussed. The result shows that there are several approaches and TECHNOLOGY/fa?page=1&sort=1&ftyp=all&fgrp=all&fyrs=all" target="_blank">PHILOSOPHY OF TECHNOLOGY. The objective should not be based on the criteria to prefer one over the other.
