Abstract

Background and objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify Organizational factors affecting the occurrence of crimes and provide Strategies for reducing crime. Methodology: To this end, the causes and factors determining the incidence of crime were first identified through interviews with experts and managers. To conduct the research, interviews and survey method have been employed. After reviewing the theoretical foundations of the research and interviews, the research questionnaire was developed. Subsequently, a questionnaire was conducted among the sample group and its reliability and validity were evaluated. The results showed that in all of the components, the questionnaire has a desirable reliability and validity. To investigate the research question and formulate appropriate Strategies, one-sample t-test and a strategic planning model were employed. Findings and results: The test showed that the mean of defective organizational structures and processes, organizational culture, management factors, along with inadequate and inappropriate training, were higher than the average. In other words, from the perspective of respondents, defective organizational structures and processes, organizational culture, managerial and inappropriate factors, and inadequate training are involved in the incidence of crimes among Employees. Subsequently, in order to select Strategies, experts were asked to score each of the indicators based on a range of 0-7, and the indicators with an average of more than 3. 5 were operationalized as the final indicators in the form of a final questionnaire. In the end, based on the strategic planning pattern, appropriate Strategies for reducing offenses in the "defensive Strategies" group and reducing the weaknesses of the organization and the elimination of threats in a time process were prepared and elaborated.
