Abstract

Iran and SAUDI ARABIA are two important and stretegic countries in the Middle East and Persian Gulf and have always exprienced relationships with ups and downs in the history of their intractions. This relatinship has entered into new phase after the Iran's Islamic Revolution.Although there have been some expansions of the relationships and deterance between two countries, but there have always been some degree of rivalry and hostility between them. Currently, they have competitions and proxy wars in some areas such as Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Bahrain. This relationship includes geopolitical, strategic and idealogical features and the impact of each of those factors are undeniable between tho countries. This article will examine the history of the two countrie' s relationships and their present disputes in the MIDDLE EAST AND SERSIAN GULF.
