Abstract

this research has been focused on the analysis of the components of Urban furniture (environmental quality, proper furniture layout, fitness and beauty, and urban inhomogeneity) and its impact on the level of satisfaction of citizens of Zahedan. The research method is descriptive-analytical and In terms of the purpose of the application. Required data were collected through library and field studies (questionnaire tool). The population of the study consisted of residents of Zahedan in year 1395 (587730 people) and the sample size was calculated 323 by Cochran formula and distributed by simple random method in terms of population. To obtain a general picture of the level of citizens' assessment of the four components of Urban furniture, a single-sample t-test was used. To investigate the relationship between Urban furniture agents and satisfaction index, Pearson correlation coefficient for each pair of factors and satisfaction index were calculated. The results of the study indicate that the average of four factors of Urban furniture is lower than the assumed mean of the test (3). The findings also indicate a positive relationship between Urban furniture factors and satisfaction index. In the end, in order to level the five areas of Zahedan in terms of the Urban furniture components and determine the most desirable area, the VIKOR model was used. The results of this model indicate that the areas of one and three Zahedan towns with coefficient of 0. 036 and 1. 000 are in the best and worst condition in terms of Urban furniture indicators.
