Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Job stress on Safety behavior with moderating role of emotional intelligence at the operators terminal of The maritime and ports administration Guilan province. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of data collection method, it is descriptive and survey type. The statistical population of the study consisted of 940 personnel at the operators terminal of The maritime and ports administration Guilan province. For determination of the sample size, the Cochran limited community formula was used and 271 persons were determined. Considering the minimum number of samples needed and the probability of not returning the questionnaire, 350 questionnaires were distributed among the staff by simple random sampling. 279 completed questionnaires were received from staff members and smart pls software was used to analyze the data. The results of the research indicate that according to the structural model of the research, in the state of significant coefficients and according to the amount of t-test, there is a significant relationship between the variables of research and Job stress on Safety behavior at the operators terminal of The maritime and ports administration Guilan province has an impact on the moderating role of emotional intelligence.
