Abstract

The visage of the 1 th Imam, Imam Reza (Peace be Upon Him), has been manifested in the versified poetry and literature of Hormozgan in the days of his birth and death. According to documents in hand, since about 988 years ago, Hormozgani poets have versified in his elegy and other Imams and religious figures in its specialized forms like mourning and lamentations. During history, numerous poets have tried to manifest virtues of this sacred and mystic figure, and while explaining his spiritual and apparent features in the form of poetry, they have expressed somehow his truth in their poetry and literature. One of the grandest graces for Iranians is the placing of his tomb in holy Mashhad. Such unique and special grace has shown itself in the lives of Iranians. Love and belief in Imam Reza have rooted in all and various classes of the society and people and they have passed difficult times by relying on his love and belief. The present paper, through content analysis method and library research tries to examine and study the status of Resistance Literature in Hormozgan Province.
