«Augmented Reality» technology and its function in biology education

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to introduce and review a new teaching method based on technology in biology teaching. Information technology make innovation possible in teaching and learning biology means whether in the class or out of it. Augmented Reality is a technology that show 3D pictures or information as text or pictures over the live pictures representing by phone or tablet camera or equipped glasses. With these technology students can observe biological forms in 3D and understand their structure and components better Or even be able to touch it and discuss it in groups. The research methodology is reviewed in this article, and the author by scrutinizing numerous articles and personal experiences of potential factors of Augmented Reality in Biology education It also introduces programs built on it. Students is the next generation of young bright scientists and in many ways, we all rely on them for coming up with new, great innovations to help us solve all these challenges ahead of us. So we must do our utmost to teach them concepts in innovative and creative ways, Augmented Reality can be one of these creative ways of teaching.
