Title

Study of Influencing Social Factors on Cultural-Social Participation among Secondary School Teachers in Mashhad

Abstract

 We studied the rate of Cultural-social participation of Mashhad’ s teachers through survey method (were distributed 220 questioners among people) and cluster sampling. In theoretical framework used Parsons’ s theory of social action, Durkheim’ s social integration and theories of Huntington, Lerner, Lipset, Inglehart and Weiner. Findings indicate that the rate of Cultural-social participation (ranging from1-5) is 3. 46. Also, results of testing hypotheses based on multiple regression analysis indicate that variables of Rationalism, social integration, access to media, achievement, religiosity and education have direct and meaningful relationship with Cultural-social participation but based on path analysis, variables of affectivity and Collectivity have reverse relationship with Cultural-social participation.
