Abstract

 Dear Editor-in-Chief Social workers are at a higher risk of work-related stress, burnout, and a lower quality of life com-pared to the general population and other health professionals due to high demands of their ser-vices and functioning in emotionally intense envi-ronments with limited resources. The Job Demands-Resourcesexplanatory model of burn-out was the theoretical framework of the study.
