Abstract

We read with great interest the letter to our publication by Dr. Kabir. Here I would like to respond to his concerns about our work. Really we did search the Emrmedex (http: //emrmedex.com) but we forgot to mention in the article. I agree with Dr Kabir about importance of Emrmedex for finding the situation in EMR countries. We did not search specifically for articles published in Arabic or French language countries. Usually these papers are being published with English abstract; therefore our routine search with English keywords could retrieve these papers. I would like to mention that many of studies that we included had a control group of hemophilia patients and we decided to summarize the difference between HCV seroprevalence between hemophilia and THALASSEMIA patients.
