Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to compare body composition and some physical factors in elite wrestlers and non-athletes.30 students were selected randomly and participated in two groups (15 wrestlers and 15 non-athletes). BF%, lean body weight, strength, velocity and agility were measured. T-test and Pearson correlation coefficient indicated that body fat percent, strength, velocity, and agility in elites and non-athletes were significantly different. Whereas lean body weight and body mass index in two groups were not significant different. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between body fat percent and velocity, agility and velocity, and agility and height in elite wrestlers.
