Abstract

Objective: Quality care of AGED PATIENTs can effect with vary factors. One of this factors can be nurses ATTITUDE tocare of them. The present study was under taken to investigate the ATTITUDE about PHYSICAL CARE of AGED PATIENTs.Materials and methods: In this study, ATTITUDEs of 100 nurses that employ in internal wards of educational hosoitals inTehran city was determined. This samples selected by random sampling and for data collection used self administered questionnaires.The study was analytical-descriptive and for evaluation of relationship between variables such as age,sex,shift,educational level.job experimental,job satisfaction and ATTITUDE of subjects to care of AGED PATIENT used inferential and descriptive statistic like mean,sd,chi 2.Z ,T and pearson tests.Results: It was found that nurses ATTITUDE to care of AGED PATIENTs was not appropriate. There were positive significant correlations between age and job satisfaction of samples and their ATTITUDEs (p<0.01 and p<0.05).Conclusion: It is recommended that expand planning and education training. Is essential for enhance of nurses ATTITUDE and experiments about care of AGED PATIENTs.
