Abstract

Schools have a major role in education system, training and also, having an educated generation. Of course, teachers' job satisfaction has an undeniable impact on their educational and training responsibilities. Job satisfaction is also, influenced by many factors. The statistical population of this study is all the teachers of district five (of education office of Tabriz, 1390) and the sample size is 183. The research method is survey and a questionnaire was used to gather the necessary data.This research aimed to answer two questions. First, how much is the job satisfaction level of teachers? Second, what are the important variables that influence the level of job satisfaction of teachers?The results show that, on average, the teachers' job satisfaction level is72.6 and there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction and self- actualization (0.69), work place (0.33), relation with colleagues (0.22), nature of job (0.21) and salary- benefits (0.17).
