Abstract

Yasa was a set of laws and provisions for Mugols based on the orders, commands, conventions, traditions and superstitions. It was binding and according to Yasa the refusal to apply it brought about heavy punishments. At first these laws were collected by Changiz. Since Changiz himself was viewed as a divine leader for Mugols, Yasa and it's speeches seemed like the divine orders the respect to which was mandatory and it became the governmental and social order basis of Mugols. Entering into Iran by Mugol' s attacks, Yasa was binding by tribes until they tended to Islam and the laws of Iran were promoted again. In this research the different aspects of Yasa performance were examined while it's concept was studied in a descriptive _analytical method method. Findings show that the laws of Yasa based on Khan orders and commands or conventions created provisions for their social life and some punishments were assigned to prevent the disruption of social orders and violation of laws.
