Abstract

CONDUCT DISORDERs area group of behavior disorders in which the basic rights of others major age appropriate social norms or rules are violated. To evaluate the factors Influencing childhood CONDUCT DISORDERs, we reviewd records of 43 cases (84% boys, mean age 11 years) referred to shahid Esmaili psychiatric hospital, Tehran all patients fulfilled diagnostic criteria of DSMIV 15 variables were included; age and sex and. step of patient among siblings, parental educational level social class of the family. Medical and , medical and psychiatric history of entire family members and the kind of therapy. The most frequent complaints were aggressiveness stealing and lying. The dominant age group was 10-14 years. The most frequen family members was 5. Most of the CHILDREN were 2nd child the family. The most often educational level of the parents  were illiteracy  followed  by primary school educated. Most of the patient were of low to intermediate socioeconomic class. The most effective therapy was behavior modification along with appropriate medications.
