Abstract

 Background and objective: It is very difficult to select Talented People and form an efficient Talent Repository, and large organizations with global relationships emphasize identifying key people for sensitive jobs at the right time to achieve the organization's goals. Hiring talented and capable people can be a competitive advantage of the organization and compensate for the lack or lack of other resources. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effective factors in the phenomenon of evaluators' similar-to-me in naming people as talented and finally forming a Talent Repository. Method: This research was conducted using the grounded research method (grounded theory) in the Iranian banking industry and based on purposive sampling method, experts were selected for interview. Data collection was done by reviewing more than one hundred available documents and articles, as well as interviewing 14 members of the Board of Directors, CEOs and senior executives of the five main banks (Workers' Welfare, Nation, Cooperative Development, Middle East and Trade). Findings: The research findings show that the errors of different auras can interfere with the formation of the talent pool and not make the right choice. Given the importance of selecting the right people for different jobs, the general identification of errors is an innovation of the article. Conclusion: As a result of this study, the intervening factors in talent selection in four categories, "intellectual orientation, organizational factors, physical similarities and historical background" were identified.
