Abstract

 Today, optimal access of tourists to Tourism elements is one of the important issues in urban Tourism planning. Meanwhile, tourist destinations are of great importance as the source and destination of day-trips in cities. For this reason, the proper location of hotels and other tourist residences can be a source of comfort for tourists in terms of transportation and also increase its unique role in Tourism and hotel development. The present study investigates the location and geographical location of hotels, the accessibility status of Tourism attractions of Isfahan city with tourist resorts. The required information is collected through library, documentary, and referral to related organizations and agencies. Data were then used for data entry into the GIS software, and the Network Analyst tool was used to analyze the data. The New Location Allocation tool was used to show the best tourist destinations as compared to tourist attractions. It was determined that the Mehr Hotel has the best access to historic attractions, the Pearl Hotel has the best access to the attraction The Kusar Resort & Spa has the best access to historical and recreational attractions. The results showed that most recreational centers in Isfahan did not have optimal distance with tourist accommodation. Also, it was revealed that the spatial distribution of Tourism residences in Isfahan is not influenced by Tourism attractions.
