Title

Identifying and Ranking the challenges of performance E-assessment Technical & vocational Training organization Case study: E-assessment Room in Northern and Razavi Khorasan Province

Abstract

 Today the use of electronic assessment tool being used increasingly in many organizations, public and private education, especially in organizations with skills training. In this regard the vocational training Organization based on skills and technology strategy document, the necessary measures to provide electronic assessment. The main purpose of this study was identifying and Ranking the challenges of performance of E-assessment in Technical & vocational Training organization (TVTO). The research method was exploratory mixed type (qualitative-quantitative); at the qualitative section, semi-structured interviews with ten experts were carried and at the quantitative section 100 questionnaires were distributed which 92 questionnaires were returned. The statistical population of this research in qualitative part were the directors of departments, and exam center and the electronic exam head center, and in that of quantitative included trainees, teachers and Independent Technical and Vocational Training Institutes (Private Sector) managers. Sampling in qualitative is snowball method and in quantitative is random stratified method. Results show that problems from trainees’ point of view are respectively as follows: "Test Content", "Technical Issues of Hardware and Software", " trainees Training and guidance", "Authorities’ Accountability", " trainees Attitude", "The Physical Space of the E-assessment Room " and "location equipment". And the problems from partners in electronic assessment unit are: "Legal Issues", "support of Staffs employee” , "Digital Literacy of trainees", "The budget allocation necessary to update and repair infrastructure ", "Staffs’ Attitude", "Coordination and Planning in Implementation".
