Title

The Prediction of Occupational Well-being based on Religious Coping Styles, Psychological Capital and Work-family Conflict

Abstract

 The present study aims to investigate the relationship between Religious coping styles, Psychological capital and Work-family conflict with Occupational well-being. The research method is descriptive-correlational and the statistical population includes all employees of a service organization, among whom 170 people are selected by convenience sampling and responded to research tools including Religious Coping Strategies Scale, Job Well-being Scale, Psychological capital Questionnaire, and Work-family conflict Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis. Findings indicated that there was a significant relationship between all Religious coping styles, family-work conflict, and Psychological capital with job well-being. Moreover, the results of regression analysis also showed that job well-being can be predicted through Psychological capital, family-work conflict, Religious coping styles, interpersonal religious support, and bullying (p <0. 05). These variables can predict 44. 9% of job well-being variation significantly. Accordingly, managers of organizations are suggested to increase the well-being of their employees, providing the necessary condition for familiarizing them with the positive and negative methods of religious coping. Additionally, they should perform necessary educations in order to manage Work-family conflict and increase Psychological capital in organizations.
