Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the individual and interaction influence of Parenting styles and ACE and ACTN3 genotypes on Children’ s fundamental movement skills development. Methods: This study is a descriptive-retrospective. The population of this study included boy Children of 4 to 6 years old in khoramabad city that number 50 of them was selected using cluster sampling method as study sample. Data collection tools included PCR for determination of genotypes and Ulrich’ s gross motor development test II. A test of Tow-way analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was used for statistical data analysis. Results: The result showed that Children with authoritative parents compared to Children with permissive and authoritarian parents gained better score on locomotion and objects control. Children of carrying ACE D allele were better Children of carrying II genotype, and Children of carrying ACTN-3 R allele than Children of carrying XX genotype performed better on locomotors motor skill. Children with DD+ authoritative and RR+ authoritative had the higher level of Motor skills. Conclusions: education styles of proper Parenting styles (such as authoritative style), along with the consideration of genetic variables, are recommended to all parents and trainers because awareness of favorable Parenting styles and the effects of genetic variables, enable them to provide the context for promoting Motor skills development in Children.
