Introduction: The main cause of adolescents and young people unable to control their emotional skills. The past studies revealed that the two modles of self-compassion pattern focused on mindfulness and attachment-based therapy increseing the self-accptance and forgiveness in people. Therefore, having these psychological traits can be usful for reducing the negative emotion such as feeling shame in persons. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of two models of Selfcompassion pattern focused on mindfulness and attachment-based therapy on shame in adolescent boys with addiction tendency. Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test with control group in which self-awareness was based on mindfulness and attachment-based treatment as independent variables and feeling of shame as dependent variable. The statistical population of this study was all male high school students of Azna city by 2019. In this study, cluster random sampling was used. the participants were divied to the experimental and control groups. The data collection tools were the Addiction Preparedness Scale developed by Wade and Butcher (1992) and the Shame, Cohen, Wolf, Panther, and Inesco (2011) Emotion Questionnaire. Subjects in the experimental group underwent mindfulness-based self-awareness and attachment-based therapy during 8 and 6 sessions. Results: The results showed that there was a significant difference between the self-efficacy of mindfulness-based compassion and attachment-based therapy on shame in adolescents with addiction readiness in experimental and control groups (p <0. 001, f = 41/38). Conclusions: Mindfulness-based self-compassion and attachment-based therapy can be effective in reducing shame in male adolescnts with addiction reasiness.

Abstract:

Introduction: Parenting is a major factor in the development of children, which is inappropriate alongside family conflicts and lacks of warm and positive relationship with parents a strong prediction to create and stay. Behavioral problems are in children. On the other hand, the issue of self-restraint in childbearing and raising it at an early age is very important that mothers should receive the necessary training and raise their children. In this research, self-efficacy of the mother refers to the beliefs and differences of a mother from her abilities to regulate and execute a series of child-rearing tasks. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of positive parenting education in the development of self-restraint in children and its effect on the effectiveness of mothers of primary school children. Methods: The quasi-experimental research is a pretest-posttest with control group The sample of the study consisted of 30 mothers of elementary school children (second grade elementary schools) in Yazd province in the academic year of 2017-2018, which were matched based on age and gender characteristics and were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups Both groups completed the parental self-efficacy and perceived self-control questionnaire in the pre-test. The members of the experimental group received a positive psychological approach for 3 weeks, 2 weeks each week and each session for 2 hours in the child's educational program, and finally, after the intervention, both questionnaires were divided into two experimental and control groups Post-test was carried out. Results: The results of single-variable covariance analysis showed that the F (F1, 27=2. 44, P=0. 16) for independent variable (group) effect on self-restraint score was not statistically significant. As a result, this research hypothesis is rejected. That is, teaching the principles of parenting with the positive psychological approach does not improve the restraint of the children, but the results of the single-variable covariance analysis show that the F (F1, 27=35. 31, P=0. 000002) for the independent variable (group) effect on the score Self-efficacy of parental parenting has been statistically significant. Conclusions: That is, the teaching of parenting principles with positive psychological approach improves the parenting self-efficacy of primary school children, therefore, positive psychology is a more effective method for increasing parent self-efficacy and can be used.

Abstract:

Introduction: Thalassemia is one of the most common chronic diseases and causes many adverse effects on the life of the child and parents, especially the mother. Additionally, maternal compatibility can help to cope with these problems and ability to deal with challenges. One of the practical patterns in nursing is Roy Adaption Model. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Roy Adaption Model on the resilience of mothers of children with thalassemia. Methods: In a clinical trial study at Taleghani Pediatric Hospital of Gonbadkavous, 54 mothers with children with thalassemia were selected by convenience sampling method and randomly assigned into two intervention and control groups. Training was conducted based on the ROY adaptation pattern in 8 sessions in two months. Data were gathered using a Demographic and Connor Davidson Resiliency QuestionnaireResults: There was no significant difference between the two groups before intervention (P = 0. 14). There was a significant difference in test group before and after the intervention (p <0. 01). also after elimination the pre-test effect There was a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p <0. 01). Conclusions: Education based on Roy Adaption Model has a positive effect on the resilience of mothers of children with thalassemia, therefore it is recommended that attention be paid to the needs of parents in child care programs. This will increase the mother's resilience to the disadvantages and, consequently, the child. It is suggested that the impact of this model on children is also assessed.

Abstract:

Introduction: Since each country has its own laws, culture, needs, philosophies and structures of health and economic conditions. Paying attention to successful educational systems in the world can show the institutionalization of an effective educational system. Comparison of different educational systems promotes educational programs and as a result, medical services, and also makes the design of curricula more flexible and based on the needs of society. Therefore, the present study was conducted to evaluate the comparative comparison of the educational program of the Master of Pediatric Nursing course of Iran and Pennsylvania Universities. Methods: This descriptive and comparative study was carried out in 2019. After searching the network on the master curriculum of pediatric Nursing in well-known international universities, we selected Pennsylvania University of United states due to the global superiority in this field. Both curriculums were compared using Beredy’ s four-stage model: description, interpretation, juxtaposition and comparison. Results: The program of both universities has values, mission and vision based on the principles of strategic planning. In the philosophy of the Pennsylvania School of Nursing, cultural and ethnic differences have been taken into account, while in Iran, the movement towards excellence in education, research and social responsibility has been introduced and cultural differences have not been mentioned. The roles and responsibilities of both faculties are almost the same and focused on the child and the family, research, education and management. Conclusions: In Iran, according to the conditions of the society, the needs of the field and the expectations of the graduates, it is necessary to constantly change and review the program; Therefore, based on the experiences of developed countries and the needs of Iranian society, efforts to improve weaknesses and strengthen strengths are recommended.

Introduction: Not only do parents become anxious when their child is admitted, but this feeling may continue after the child is discharged from the hospital. The aim of this study was to evaluate and compare the anxiety of parents of children before surgery. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed in 2019. In this study, 66 parents (parents) of children were randomly enrolled in the study before surgery. Data collection tools were a researcher-made demographic questionnaire and Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory, which was completed by participants the night before the operation. Results: The mean age of mothers was 32± 6. 6 years and their fathers were 36. 3± 7. 8 years. The majority of children were girls (59. 1%) and were in preschool (57. 6%). In terms of hospitalization history, most of the studied units had no previous history. There is no significant difference in the mean score of anxiety between mothers and their spouses at all levels except the level of very severe anxiety. And only 4. 5% of fathers had severe anxiety. Also, there was no significant difference between parents in terms of hospitalization history (P> 0. 05). Conclusions: Group or individual training of parents with children the night before surgery, the presence of parents in the operating room before induction of anesthesia and after surgery in the recovery room will have a significant effect on reducing parent-child anxiety.
