Abstract

Purpose: To report a case of primary ORBITAL LIPOSARCOMA presenting with a conjunctiva mass. Patient and findings: A 45-year-old female peresented with a mass in left caruncle. She underwent incisional BIOPSY of the caruncle and orbit. Pathologic examination of the specimen revealed LIPOSARCOMA. One year later she presented with expansion and progression of the TUMOR and exenteration was performed. Conclusion: Although rare, LIPOSARCOMA should be considered in the differential diagnosis of conjunctiva land ORBITAL masses.
