Abstract

CLOZAPINE is an atypical neuroleptic drug that was initially thought not to cause NEUROLEPTIC MALIGNANT SYNDROME (NMS).We report a case of NMS associated with CLOZAPINE use developed in a young man without previous history of NMS.Although NMS associated with CLOZAPINE TREATMENT is a rare event, NMS should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a februle patient treated with colzapine.
