Abstract

ORAL Anticuagulant are used in many cardiac diseases in order to prevent thromboembolic process. Warfarin is the most common drugs used for this purpose. Which Inhibits synthesis of vit K dependent coagulant factors, its efficacy is variable in different patients.Warfarin metabolism depends on various concommitant drugs nutrients consumption either on additive or diminutive effect.In patients with hypercoaguable state due to anticuagulan protein's deficiency i.e/protein & S, anti thrombin. III require higher doses of warfarine or heparine.There are some rare cases of resistance to warfarin effect (Who requrie 50mg or more doses daily) persumably due to hereditary back ground, high doses of warfarin in addition to anabolic steroids would be beneficial in this respect.
