Abstract

To estimate the noise effects and the related factors upon the efficiency in certian industries and Jobs, this cross - Sectional Study was fulfilled at 54 factoris in the city of ILAM..using Sound Level meter device in a Stationing method at 154 blocks of the above - mentioned factories , the Sound Pressure in Line and A.C. chanals Level was measured. Band Frequency analysis was immediately perfomed at the blocks where the sound pressure Level exceeded the Standard Level (85db) . Some variables such as the sort of industrial activity, the walls material, the work - shops ceilings as well as enjoying health and Safety unit in charge were Studing using Spss .win Software, the data were analysed by T. tests and unilatral variance.The findings implied that the Sound pressure Level mean ( Spl.mean) at the work - Shops with technical Safety committees were relatively 6.2 db Less than af the work - Shops without Such committess. the difference was statistically Significant . There was a Significant relation between The SPL. and the materials used in the coilings and walls too. A significant relation was also proved to exist between the SPL. at work- Shops and Kind of activity they preform in various occupations.
