Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between COPING STYLES and MARITAL ADJUSTMENT among adult children of martyrs and their spouses. Two hundred and eleven couples, all resident in Tehran, were randomly selected. COPE inventory and Dayadic Adjustment Scale were administered on all participants. Analysis of data indicate that there is a significant relationship between COPING STYLES and MARITAL ADJUSTMENT. Linear stepwise regression reveals that COPING STYLES can significantly predict MARITAL ADJUSTMENT in both sexes.
