Abstract

MARGINal discrepancy, is one of the problems with cemented casting restorations. Determining (evaluating) the amount of this gap is complex." However, minimal dimensions for these gaps have not been determined. It has been reported that a clinical acceptable MARGINal gap can be from 25µ to 120 µ.Most researches believe that a 100µ MARGINal discrepancy is clinically acceptable but it should diminish to 25 µ (cement film thickness) as it is possible.
