Abstract

This study investigated the relationship between coping strategies with stress and resiliency with optimism at the high school students were Dezful city. Sample included 300 female students was a cluster sampling method chosen. Research tools included: coping strategies questionnaire (COPE), resiliency questionnaire Conner and Davidson (CD-RISC) and optimism questionnaire (ASQ) The validity and reliability of all had acceptable. And correlation study. Multiple regression method to analyze the data was used. The results in level p<0/05 showed that between of coping strategy to deal the problem oriented with optimism and resiliency with optimism among students and the significant positive relationship and between coping strategy and an emotion oriented of non-effective strategy with optimism students significant negative relationship. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that variables predictive coping strategies (problem oriented, emotion oriented, non-effective), and resiliency seven percent of variance criterion variable (optimism are explained).
