Abstract

Epidennal changes including hyperkeratosis and epidermal verrucous changes, papillomatosis, secondary infection, recurrent erysipelas and ulceration are complications of chronic LYMPHEDEMA. ELEPHANTIASIS is a tenn used for these significant changes. Xanthoma may also develop in LYMPHEDEMAtous areas. Lymphangiosarcoma is a rare complication of chronic LYMPHEDEMA. Nodular fibrosis is mentioned as a rare complication of LYMPHEDEMA of legs and only two cases have been reported in the literature. This article presents a case of multiple lesions of NODULAR FIBROSIS on both legs after 40 years history of chronic lymphedema.
