Abstract

Introduction: PreECLAMPSIA is the most common medical complication in pregnancy and one of the three leading causes of maternal mortality. Recently, the relationship between SEASONAL VARIATION and preECLAMPSIA has been considered. This SYSTEMATIC REVIEW was performed with aim to determine the relationship between SEASONAL VARIATION with preECLAMPSIA and ECLAMPSIA to achieve the overall results in IRAN.Methods: In this SYSTEMATIC REVIEW, data was extracted through searching in national and international electronic databases including: SID, IRANmedex, Magiran, IRANdoc, Pubmed, Scopus and Google Scholar using the standard keywords by combining AND, OR. Time limitation was from 1996 to May 2016. After excluding duplicated and irrelevant articles, finally 11 studies which were conducted in different cities of IRAN were selected and assessed.Results: The articles review of this study shows a significant relationship between SEASONAL VARIATION with preECLAMPSIA and ECLAMPSIA, and this relationship indicates more prevalence of preECLAMPSIA and ECLAMPSIA in cold season (autumn and winter).Conclusion: There is a relationship between preECLAMPSIA and ECLAMPSIA with cold seasons. With regard to limited studies in this field, it is recommended to perform numerous homogeneous studies in different geographic regions of the country.
