Abstract

Mother in the family has a paramount role in child TRAINING; the essential role of MOTHER cannot be neglected in environmental TRAINING, but the inheriting role has been, to s great extent, neglected. This research investigates the inheriting role of MOTHER compared with that of father through analysis of verses and Islamic narrations. The findings revealed that, from Islamic perspective, the role of MOTHER is more important in both environmental and inheriting TRAINING; therefore, the inheriting role of MOTHER should be taken serious.
