THE INVESTIGATION OF THE EXTENT OF EFFECTVENESSOF TEACHING ANGER MANAGEMENT ON THE REDUCTION AND CONRTOL OF ANGER IN FIRST GRADE FEMALE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT IN TEHRAN

Abstract

 The purpose of this research has been investigation of the extent of effectiveness of teaching anger management on the reduction and control of anger in first grade female high school student in 13 area of eduction in Tehran.The method of research was semi-experimental with pre-posttest experimental and control groups. 70 students were selected by simple random samling and randomly assigned in experimental and control groups. The second version of Spielberg State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory (ST AXI-2) was used for pre-and post-test for anger expression. Experimental group received 6 sessions of 60 to 90 minutes of anger management program.Covariance analysis and LSD were used to test the hypothesizes. Results of the study showed that ANGER MANAGEMENT EDUCATION was effective on the reduction and control of female first grade students and thde need of feeling verbak anger expression and the anger expression out (p<0.1), reducing the need of feeling of physical anger expression and the anger experssion in (p<0.5), reducing the ANGER TEMPERAMENT (p<0.1).
