 Dear Editor, An outbreak of coronavirus disease in 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has become a pandemic. 1 In Japan, the increasing number of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 threatens pre-existing medical resources, and incidents of group nosocomial infections in medical institutions and infected healthcare professionals (HCPs) are also increasing.
