Abstract

Health volunteers (Rabeteen Behdshti) are the pioneers of a public cooperation that have voluntarily taken steps on the road of public participation for security and promotion the level of social health. Based on studies these devoted people have stopped their cooperation for different reasons .Therefore considering the problems of this group can prevent the discontinuation of their cooperation.This analytic -descriptive study was carried out to determine the problems of the health volunteers of Lorestan health centers in 2000.In this study 491 out of 1813 individuals with accuracy of %4 were selected randomly. Data was collected using a two - part questionnaire including individual information and basic questions about their problems.According to the findings problems of the health volunteers were of different types ,so that socio economical problems with X=4.62 acquired first priority in comparison with others, then centers problems (X=4.34), cultural (X=3.7), Communicating problems (X=3.72), educational and justification problems (X=2.33) and family problems (X=0.43). There were significant difference between their average score and educational levels of their spouses (P=0.01), between their marital status and communicative difficulties (P=0.02) with their jobs and the average of the connectives problems (P=0.03) and income with their socio ecconomic problems has, that can result in breaking off their cooperation. Regarding the results of this study and paying attention to the necessity of public cooperation, the importance of the Health volunteers role, the need for increasing their motivation, solving their problems sound necessary.
