Abstract

There are different ways to provide needed BONEs for departments of anatomy. As the current ways take too much time and pollute work environment, as well as , damage the BONEs, this research was carried out in order to present a new method to provide FIXED CADAVERS BONEs. 90 short and Long BONEs were separated from two FIXED CADAVERS, and after the primary cleaning by scissors and scalpel, they were divided into three groups that each included 30 BONEs. The first group were put in autoclave with temperature of 121°c-124°c for 130 minutes, the second group for 6 hours and 30 minutes in commercial sulfuric acid and the third group for a week in commercial hydrechloric acid,.The soft tissues which had attachment to the BONEs of first group were separated easily and no erosion and flexibility were observed in the BONEs.The soft tissues of the second group BONEs also separated and the BONEs had necessary durability, but the soft tissues of the third group were not separated at all and the BONEs were soft and flexible.Results show that the autoclave method is better than other two ways, and it can be controlled.
