The effect of assertiveness training program on academic well-being of girl first – grade high school students

Abstract

 The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of educational program on the educational well-being of high school female students. . The present study was a semi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design and follow-up with the control group. The statistical population of this study included all female primary school students in Khorramabad city in the academic year 2015-16. The sample size was divided into two classes: 22 students (44 students) (one class (22 individuals) and one group (22 individuals), control group). They were randomly selected using multi-stage cluster sampling. The instrument of measurement in this research was the Peertin et al. (2014) Educational Welfare Questionnaire. The experimental group was trained by the program. After completing the training sessions, both the experimental and control groups, the post-test, and again 2 months later, were followed up. Data analysis was performed using spss-19 and descriptive and inferential tests such as Variable analysis with repeated measurements and t independent groups. The results of the study showed that the education program has a significant effect on educational well-being (P <0. 001). These results were maintained at the follow-up stage.
