Abstract

This survey was conducted to determine the learning rate of students in girls' high schools in Sari City based on Senge systematic model, and 5 subsystems: EMPOWERING and enabling people, SHARED VISION, MENTAL MODELS, TEAM LEARNING and SYSTEM THINKING. A descriptive research design was employed to survey 196 teachers working in the girls' high schools in the city of Sari. This sample was randomly chosen from a population of 400 teachers. The data gathering tool was a researcher made thirty-item questionnaire, based on senge systematic model of LEARNING ORGANIZATION; applying a four-point scale. The learning rate of all the high schools was above the average level in all 5 subdivisions. In addition, regarding the students' rate of learning, there was a difference between the students in public and private high schools.
