Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to assess the effect of information and communication technology on the MANAGEMENT OF CHANGE. The research method was descriptive and correalational. The population consisted of all the official staff of Agriculture Jihad in the Sari city, that is, 580 people. Applying the Kerjesi and Morgan table, 234 subjects selected as research sample. In order to gather data, a researcher-made questionnaire comprising 21 items was used. The content validity and the reliability of the questionnaire were tested using Cronbach's Alpha which appeared to be 0.90. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential procedures were followed. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and the change in the organization structure, change in the policy of organization and change in the staff performance.
