THE EFFECTS OF FAMILY EDUCATION PROGRAMS ON REINFORCEMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING OF THE PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS TEHRAN CITY

Abstract

 The aim of this study was to determine the effect of family education programs on CRITICAL THINKING of elementary school students in Tehran. The present study describes a survey that uses a formula to estimate the sample based on the determination of sample size through application of Krjsy Morgan chosen from the population of 388261 people. The extracted sample comprises 357 people selected at random and clustered single-step. The tool is made up of two parts. The first part of the family, including five questions and the second part of CRITICAL THINKING, which consisted of 32 questions is to develop theoretical foundations and research carefully and 40 sub-components extraction and after consultation with experts (10 people) 4 principal component as distributed (SEO), EVALUATION (arguing gray), self-regulation (control) and a skeptic (its ORIENTATION) and 32 sub-components were prepared. The reliability index of 0.873 was obtained for family education, and the related index for CRITICAL THINKING was 0.812. After extracting the required data and statistical, data using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, the results showed that: Family education programs have an impact on improving students` CRITICAL THINKING; family education programs on their ORIENTATION (skeptic) does not affect students; education programs on family, oriented REASONING (evaluation) has an effect on students; family education programs on self-regulation (control) has an effects on students; family education programs on INQUIRY (search casting) has an effect on students.
