Abstract

Background: To pay attention to complications, accidents, sequels, nasea and VOMITING post UROD with any anesthesia methods has special remarkable importance and the aim/goal of this study is assessment and comparison of complications and NAUSEA and VOMITING incidence / prevalence with general inhalational and intravenous anesthesia POST-UROD.Materials and Methods: descriptive clinical randomized study on 100 patients ASAI-II (95 makes and 5 females) with opium abuse 80% and other substances divided in 2 groups. One group of 50 Patients with premedication of 0.4 mgclonidine orally and 25 mg nalteroxene with 15mg naloxan with pump infusional in 4 hours and 1 mg/Kg/h propofol and 5 mg pancuronium 1st. group of inhalation. 5mg/kg thiopenton with %1 halothan and 50%-50% N20+02+15 mg naloxone infusion Monitoring and care and treatment of vital signs and complications post-UROD and at 1st and 5st and 12th house intervals. Results: Methods of opioid abuse are related to individual/ personal and social conditions so multifactor and duration and types of drug addictions are effective in physical and mental status and problems operativell / postoperativel / the refore evaluation and past history are important. Emergences of emotional mental problems POST-UROD are important. In this study most Urinary retention in 5% managed accordingly. In I.v. anesthesia group mild-moderate NAUSEA& VOMITING, patients (18%) and in inhalational group 4 patients (8%) were observed (Overall 13%).Conclusion: this study showed that with I.V. anesthesia with propofol method compared with inhalational anesthesia there is lower incidence of NAUSEA and VOMITING POST- ULTRA- rapid opioid detoxification.
