Due to the influence of criminology doctrines, society and especially criminal justice have worked to treat and cure the deliquents. In this respect, supportive mechanism of the suspect rights known as “just hearing” has come to the scene.The issue of respecting the victims’ rights and humane behavior has been known as “just behavior”.One of the side-effects of the “just behavior” is the mental, affective, and physical compensation of the victims of delinquency.In order for maintaining such idea in different countries like France and Germany judicial systems, law enforcement, and the civil society have established victims’ clinics.The present study tries to explore the scientific basis for such clinics and the practical mechanisms of them.

Locating hot spots can exert great effects in preventing crime. Suburbs of Bandar-Abbas have turned to become hot spots due to a significant decrease in the population size and security levels.The present paper tries to rate the factors contributing to the increase in crime in Bandar – Abbas suburbs. The role of administrators and police have also been investigated in the study.The results demonstrated that social factors played the most important role in commiting crime on the part of criminals; Environmental, economic, and cultural indices scored more, respectively.

Traffic-related accident is one of the important issues which threaten public health. The problem is becoming more sophisticated in Iran and there are lots of young victims due to car accidents. In order to find out the effective factors in traffic accidents, regression models such as logistic models (LR), and CRT can be used.This article investigates the reasons of road traffic accident reduction when benefitting from GLM, CRT, LR regression models. The main three factors involved in accidents were known to be human, road, and car - related factors. Statistical samples were 343, 082 cases of Iran roads accidents during the year of 2007.

The present paper investigates the relationship between the directors' leadership styles and staff commitment of Fars Province police. The data were gathered by questionnaire. The management styles variables measured were based on Likeert leadership style and the variable of organizational commitment was assessed by Steers standardized questionnarie. Statistical population consisted of Fars Province police staff and 299 subjets were chosen. Based on the correlation coefficient, there was a meaning ful relationship between dictatorial and good-will styles of management and consultative and cooperational styles of management. The results showed that consultative and cooperational styles of management are more effective than the other styles of management.

Human relations can be considered a source of happiness and productivity in human beings through which people understand each other and work together. Human relations skills are among the basic ones in the process of educational supervision. Police University as the science heart of the police organization should take this in to consideration and maintain and improve it in accordance with its environmental conditions.The present paper tries to clarify “ human relations “ and “ educational supervision “ and adapt them with the police university conditions to elaborate on human relations indices in educational supervision.

Exact definitions of national and domestic security Pinpoint that security is synonymous with all-out development as well as communication development. It should be noted that security vulnerability of Soviet Union was not due to military weakness but because of lack of independent media inside itself. So the importance of media in boosting regional and international security is quite clear. Media and press do not have any conflict with national security, but they help establish strong national and domestic security and eradicate any security threats. The present paper discusses that social trust is one of important factors in maintaining security and media can create the needed trust.

Lack of methods that can implement the criminology principles in police control efforts to pave the way for police local institutions cooperations has resulted in the bad consequences in the process of situational crime prevention. Since the number of studies done in problem-oriented approach to crime prevention in Iran are few, the present paper can boost the related literature.The results showed that implementing such approach requires a mechanism by which police and other public and private institutions can identify and understand social issues and solve problems.
