Abstract: 

مقدمه: استان صنعتی یزدبا دارا بودن شهرکهای صنعتی متعدد در محدوده خود و به دنبال آن حجم فاضلابهای تولیدی ناشی از این شهرکها با مشکل کم آبی بشدت مواجه است. بنابراین لزوم تصفیه مناسب فاضلابها و مدیریت کارآمد پسابهای تولیدی شهرکهای صنعتی این استان به طور جدی می بایست مطرح و مورد پیگیری مسوولانقرار گیرد. هدف از این مطالعه امکان سنجی استفاده مجدد از پساب شهرک صنعتی جهان آباد میبد جهت مصارف کشاورزی و آبیاری می باشد. روش بررسی: مطالعه حاضر یک پژوهش توصیفی مقطعی است. در این تحقیق، از مقادیر متوسط حاصل از نتایج نمونه برداری و آزمایشات انجام گرفته بر روی پساب خروجی تصفیه خانه شهرک صنعتی جهان آباد میبد در سال1391 (مرداد ماه لغایت دی ماه) استفاده شده است. مقادیر متوسط پارامترهای BOD2، COD، TSS و... با استانداردهای تعیین شده توسط سازمان حفاظت محیط زیست مقایسه و در نرم افزار اکسل تحلیل گردید. یافته ها: طبق نتایج بدست آمده مقادیر متوسط پارامترهای کیفی COD، BOD5، TSS، SO4، pH وکدورت مورد بررسی از پساب خروجی تصفیه خانه به ترتیب 160، 312، 92، 162 (mg/L)، 8.2 و 31.4 (NTU) تعیین گردید. نتیجه گیری: نتایج تحقیق نشان می دهد مقادیر متوسط پارامترهای کیفی مورد بررسی از پساب خروجی تصفیه خانه مورد مطالعه به غیر از BOD5 و COD در محدوده استاندارد و حد مجاز جهت مصارف کشاورزی و آبیاری قرار دارد که ممکن است عملکرد زیست محیطی نامطلوب این دو پارامتر را در پی داشته باشد.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Irradiation treatment is one of the best techniques to extend the shelf-life of meat, without emerging the nutritional properties and sensory quality of irradiated meat products. However electron-beam may cause transformations in foods but has been known as to the most easily-applied irradiation technique in food industries. Electron-beam irradiation is an environment friendly, low cost and time effective alternative to other decontamination technologies. Lipid oxidation could produce of irradiated meat. This study aimed at evaluating the state of lipid oxidation of irradiated sausages. Its findings could help the control, improve food safety and quality properties to food industries.Methods: Sausages were purchased in a local supermarket, minced sausages blended for thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) analysis and divided into 25 g pieces. The samples including one control group and four case groups. Packaged sausage were exposed at doses of 0 (control), 1, 2, 3 and 5 kGy and analyzed on various days 0, 5, 10 and 30.Results: Thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS) has increased as time goes on (P<0.05). A significant relationship was observed on different Doses. But, the maximum of TBARS was observed in 3 kGy.Conclusion: Utilizing of Electron-beam irradiation in low doses does not have significant difference on lipid oxidation. Irradiating of meat products by addition of antioxidants can minimize or avoid the development of rancidity.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Increased blood glucose is One of the main causes oxidative stress production in diabetes patients and ultimately creating complications cardiovascular - vascular. The aim of our study was to investigate the effecting of Dorema aucheri plant powder on amount the per oxidation lipid in diabetic patients.Methods: This study Was performed as double-blind randomized controlled clinical trial, between 150 patients with type 2 diabetes at diabetes research Center in Yazd. By dividing the patients into three groups, respectively, daily 100 and 500 mg plant capsules and placebo was administered. Blood samples were taken before and after taking the plant powder. After the measurement, the data with software SPSS software (version 16), and with a confidence level of 95% and P<0.05, were analyzed.Results: The mean malondialdehyde, before and after taking, respectively, in the placebo group: 0.59 ±0.03 and 0.58±0.03, in 100 mg dose groups 0.44±0.07 and 0.41±0.09 (P=0.051) and for the 500 mg dose, respectively, 0.45±0.07 and 0.26±0.04 mM. In the 500 mg dose groups, blood lipid index and blood glucose after consuming of plant powder had a significant reduction.Conclusion: This study showed that consumption of plant powder bilhar proportional decrease in plasma parameters (blood glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol), and lipid peroxidation (MDA) in patients diabetes.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Regular physical activity as the first priority is the expressed healthy lifestyle. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of education on physical activity housewives.Methods: The 106 persons were selected random sampling in two groups (53 patients in the intervention group and 53 in control group). The International physical activity questionnaire was used to measure. Questionnaires pre and post intervention and control groups within 3 months after the training was completed in the intervention group. Training for lectures, PowerPoint, CDs and pamphlets related to the topic, the intervention group was provided. The results were analyzed by using the Pearson correlation coefficient, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis and Wilcoxon tests.Results: The results showed that a significant difference Score for recreation, sports and activities, free time in the intervention group. Also, there are significant difference Walkway equivalent overall in the intervention group.Conclusion: The findings that suggest that education using media such as CD and pamphlets, along education by PowerPoint and learning assist tools, and continuity can be increases the sport activities and physical activity of women housewives.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Effluents contains dyes Because of the adverse health effects of Environmental and dangerous for public health. The aim of this study was to the use of a combination coagulation and flocculation process Coupled with photocatalytic degradation in dye 2- (methoxy carbonyl amino methyl) - acrylic acid methyl ester from Synthetic wastewater.Methods: In this study, the color removal with the help of coagulants and photocatalytic process was carried out in batch reactors. Parameters of the color concentrations, titanium oxide nanoparticles concentrations, beam intensity, contact time, pH and COD were investigated. The remaining dye concentration was determined by using a spectrophotometer.Results: the results of this study showed that the color and COD removal by coagulation and flocculation process in optimum conditions, 72 and 58/5 percent obtained respectively. And subsequently by using photocatalytic process (TiO2/UV-A) highest percentage removal color and COD in concentration of 150 mg /L of nanoparticles and light intensity of 480 mw/cm2, 98 and 90.8 percent respectively, in contact time of 75 minutes and Equal pH of 6 was reported.Conclusions: According to results, the application of integrated process coagulation and flocculation Coupled with photocatalytic degradation (TiO2/UV- A) in dye 2- (methoxy carbonyl amino methyl) - acrylic acid methyl ester and COD Under optimal conditions Obtained is very impressive and can be used in wastewater treatment automotive industry.

Abstract: 

Introduction: With attention to the existence numerous numbers of industrial towns and them volume of generated wastewater and problems of shortage of water in the Yazd province, therfore the proper wastewater treatment and efficient management of waste water of industrial towns for reuse of them is one of the most important of program for reducing & saving in water consumption. Hence, this study aimed to the feasibility of the reuse of waste water of industrial town of Jahan Abad Maybod for agricultural and irrigation uses.Methods: This study is a descriptive cross-sectional research. At this study, it is used the mean values of the results of sampling and tests of output waste water of Jahan Abad Maybod treatment plant in 2012 (July to January). Then the mean values of the BOD, COD, TSS and... parameters compared with the standards values of the EPA and analyzed by Excel software.Results: The results show that the mean values of quality parameters of the output waste water of treatment plant such as COD, BOD5, TSS, SO4, pH and turbidity are respectively 312, 160, 92, 162 (mg/L), 8.2 and 31.4 (NTU).Conclusion: The results showed that the mean values of the quality parameters of the studied output waste water except BOD5 and COD are in the standard range for the uses of agriculture and irrigation which it may has the negative & inappropriate environmental operation of these two parameters.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Irradiation of intervention techniques in order to effectively control food-borne pathogens that reduce microbial load and increase the shelf-life.Methods: In this study, ostrich meat were treated with electron beam 1.5, 3 and 5 kGy doses and stored in temperature 1±4oC for 15 days. With 5 dayi ntervals after irradiation, chemical and organoleptic changes were evaluated. The amount of total volatile nitrogen (TVN) and thiobarbituric acid (TBA) were measured to evaluate the chemical changes.Results: Irradiation significantly reduces the amount of TVN in the samples. It also increases the amount of thiobarbituric acid in the irradiated samples was statistically significant direct relationship with the irradiation and during storage, and despite the increase in thiobarbituric acid, irradiation had no significant effect on the sensory properties of ostrich meat.Conclusion: The results show that electron beam irradiation of ostrich meat with increased storage time for at least two weeks at refrigerator temperature without a noticeable change in the organoleptic properties of the meat.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Lung cancer is known the leading cause of death among cancers. Since in our country a comprehensive scientific information not available on the determinants of protective behavior of lung cancer among workers, this study, aimed to examine determinants of lung cancer protective behaviors among Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) workers based on protection motivation theory.Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 253 workers of the ESCO who were randomly selected. In this study, the researcher-made questionnaire was used to assess determinants of lung cancer protective behaviors.. Collected data were analyzed by statistical tests of T-Test, ANOVA and correlation coefficient.Results: Of participants %54.2 have always did periodic medical examinations to ensure of their lungs health and 27.7% of participants used low-risk materials instead of hazardous materials.Among constructs of protection motivation theory, perceived severity had the highest mean score (41.33 ±5.83) and fear the lowest mean score (9.77±2.49). The constructs of protection motivation theory predicted 22.6% of lung cancer protective behaviors variance.Conclusion: Regarding effectiveness of the protection motivation theory in Understanding determinants of lung cancer protective behaviors so the theory can be used as a framework for the design of educational programs to enhance workers' motivation to adopt lung cancer protective behaviors.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Identifying the effect of energy consumption, economic growth and foreign trade on CO2 emissions have been studied at both national and international levels. However, there have been very few researches on the effect of financial and banking development on the CO2 emissions, especially in Iran. So, this study aimed to cover this research gap.Methods: This study was a time-series analyses over the period of 1971-2011. In order to investigate about existence of a long-run co-integration relationship between CO2 emissions and banking development indicators in Iran, long-run coefficients were estimated by Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) and Dynamic Ordinary Least Squares (DOLS) approaches. Moreover, to carry out the econometric tests Microfit (5.0) and Eviews (9.0) software were used.Results: Findings showed that the ratio of domestic credit to private sector by banks to GDP (Banking Development Indicator) reduces CO2 emissions in Iran. In addition, results confirm with theories and other empirical studies showed that energy consumption has positive and significant effect on CO2 emissions in long-run.Conclusion: The government can help to improve environment quality by establishing a strong policy making on credit to firms by banking system. Because in this framework firms to receive credit from banking system are required codified programs to reduce negative outcomes of energy consumption and this lead to a less CO2 emissions in long-run.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Sexuality education is one of the most important educational needs for adolescents, and mothers may have the key role in educating these issues to their daughters. This study aimed at developing, implementing and evaluating of a training program for mothers to educate sexuality matters to their adolescent girls in Mahshahr, Iran.Methods: This field trial was conducted on 140 mothers having 12 to18-year girls from September to March 2012. Data was collected by two validated questionnaires. The first one assessed the "Parent-Child Relationship: Mother" questionnaire which indirectly measures the level of communication skills for mothers completed by the girls, and the second one measured "Knowledge and attitude about sexuality education to adolescents" questionnaire completed for mothers. Based on the results, an educational intervention for mothers consisted of three training sessions was designed and established. Before and three-month later data were analyzed and compared.Results: Three months after the intervention, the mean scores of mothers’ knowledge and attitude scores toward sexuality matters, was increased significantly (P<0.01). However, there was not any significant difference between the scores of mothers’ communication skills (P=0.37).Conclusion: It seems that the designed educational program was effective to improve the knowledge and attitudes toward the sexuality matters in mothers, but learning communication skills as an important factor in training women for sexuality education to their adolescent girls, need to continuous, regular, and companion with experiences and practice.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Congenital heart defects are known as the state that comes from birth and influences on structure and function of baby's heart, The different types of defects can range from mild (e.g., a small hole between the heart chambers) to severe (VSD).Methods: This article is a review article in which the articles published in Farsi and English that the bases valid as Medline, Google Scholar, Pubmed, Springer, SID index has been used, as well as for the study of keywords associated with the use of MESH keywords in identifying and no time limit listed in the databases were searched.Results: The prevalence of congenital heart defect, in general, less than one per cent in newborn.The ventricular septal defect (VSD), atrial septal defect (ASD), patent ductusarteriosus (PDA) and tetralogy of fallot (TOF) were the most types of congenital heart anomalies. Factors such as the age of the parents at conception, maternal risk of diabetes, influenza and febrile illness during pregnancy, drug use during pregnancy and taking a multivitamin before and during the Pregnancy were influenced of newborns with congenital heart defects.Conclusion: According to studies need to be conducted in the presence of multiple risk factors for these disorders, seem to have a detailed plan to Study of More about the factors that affect the risk of developing these disorders, as well as interventions to reduce risk factors identified particularly during pregnancy.
