Abstract: 

The goal of this survey is to investigate high school teachers’ knowledge of the fundamentals of curriculum development and learning strategies and delivering proper patterns to improve their knowledge and skills. The survey was done as a field research and the researcher collected the data from high school teachers in Mazandaran Province in 2006-2007. Statistical samples were 360 teachers, chosen randomly to analyze the data, in descriptive and deductive statistics, frequency distribution, frequency percentage, average puzzles and also Chi-square test, F-test and Z-test using SPSS software. The most important results of the survey were: high school teachers’ awareness of fundamentals of curriculum development and learning principles was lower than average. The average grade of assessment test of high school teachers’ awareness of fundamentals of curriculum development and learning principles was 10.89 (from 20) and among the averages based on different variances such as gender, degree, field of study and year of working, there was a meaningful difference. The Highest average grades referred to the group of educational sciences teachers with MA. degrees and working 10-19 years, and the least average grades refer to the group of basic sciences teachers with BA. degree and working of 20-29 years.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research is to identify the components of supportive supervision develop an appropriate model for supportive supervision and determine the degree of appropriateness of the proposed model. The present research is a survey and description. The statistical population includes 434 faculty members of schools of education at state universities 669 supervisors, 1029 Instructional evaluators and 606 educational experts. Cluster sampling and within the clusters partial sampling were used. Three questions of present research include:What are the components of supportive supervision?Regarding the present components, what appropriate model can you give for the educational system?According to the views of faculty members of schools of education at state universities supervisors, instructional evaluators and educational experts, what is the proportion of the proposed model?To answer the first question the literature was reviewed and global studies were surveyed and six components were extracted and then each of the sub-componenets were identified.To test the components and answer the research questions a questionnaire was given to the 500 people including: faculty members, supervisors, instructional evaluators and educational experts. The data collected were disaggregated through statistical methods with high frequency percentage and through Factorial Analysis and One Sample T-Test. The pertinent and impertinent variables in this research were identified with %93 accuracy. Using SPSS, the relationship between the variables were calculated and analyzed. The variables were named on the basis of specific values including in: End-of-Year Evaluation, Observation, Professional Development, Goal-Setting. Lesson Planning and Professional Commitment. To answer the third question, a questionnaire was given to the study group. They were asked to identify the adequacy of the model through grading. The accuracy of the questionnaire was calculated as %93 and the total mean of 8.9 out of 10 Based on the results, the research suggested a conceptual model for educational system of Iran.

Abstract: 

It is about half a century that has been passing study of obedience and in greater scale of social influence. Why people accept mutual influence from one of the tittle of social influence is obedience of power sources which is remarkably important in education areas, Family and other social organization.Afield experiment performed on 660 students as sample in student community from twenty areas in Tehran. In Eduction department, in order to compare among three power sources including (Manager, vice principal, teacher) at school.At first each of power sources asked subjects to do a fix action which wasn’t amoral and to be against with rule standard. Subjects behavior have been observed and recorded by experinenter, Subjects answered to final questions after receiving demand on every action.After data extraction and using inferential and descriptive statistics method (applying of significance test different between two independence ratio). The following results have been finding.There are sisnificance differences between school power resources and pure students obedience behavior in education different steps.Power sources have not any effect on different sexes in pure obedience behavior. They observed more disobey behavior in male students, but this rate is not sisnificance.Writing instructions are arousing behavior of individual obedience in significe rate. Dosobey rate of oral instructions are sisnificanty more than writing instructions.There are not any sisnificant effects on different sexes on writing or oral request.Pure obedience behavior wills sisnificanty decrease with advance age. This difference at elemantry stage students with suidance and high school students is much more than guidance with highschool students.

Abstract: 

The main objective of this research is to study the duration and quality of spending leisure times by official staff in branches of Islamic Azad University (region). Using a survey and administering a questionnaire to subjects the necessary data were gathered. The variables were gender, age, marriage status, income, education level, and university degree. The results showed that relation between gender, marriage status, and income level with quality of spending leisure times are significant (p<0.05 and 0.01). Also, it showed that "to be with family" was more current method of spending leisure times.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this articale is to survey the trend of changes in women's higher education in public universities and their partivipation in labor force in Esfahan during 1992-2002. In this study, the following issues: analyzed the women's social demand for higher education, the gender structure of women's higher education and their fields of study, women's participation in labor force, women achievement in managerial jobs, and the relationship between women's higher education and their access to professional jobs. This survey was conducted by a descriptive-analytical approach. The sample used was suited statistical society. The results showed that the trend of women's participation in higher education was very significant. Although women were presented at all levels of higher education, their presence was very outstanding in technincal engineering (from %10.74 in 1992-1993 to %40.95 in 2001-2002) In agricultural fields their rate increased from %2.6 to %51.95 in the same period. Although women's participation in higher education was very significant, their presence in labor force and managerial responsibilities were not so outstanding. The rate of women's participation in labour force had a negative growth (%-2.24) per year. Only %2.3 of supervisory and %28.2 of specialized jobs were occupied by educated women in the public administration.

Abstract: 

The present study aims at investigating the extent to which in-service training of information and communication technology (ICT) influences secondary school teachers is Isfahan but complementary dimension were considered; namely, the enhancement of e-government learning, the use of internet and the effective use of computer. The research design was a descriptive survey. Using cluster sampling 300 high school teachers were randomly selected from Isfahan teachers. The measurement instrument was a researcher-developed questionnaire including questions boned on the likertcale. Chronbach's Alpha coefficient was employed in computing the validity of the questionnaire; which was about 0.96. For data analysis the relevant descriptive and inferential statistical techniques were used. The findings revealed that the efficacy of in-service training of information and communication technology was below M.S. average. In addition, the findings indicated that in-service training of ICT was more effective for male high school teachers than for female teachers and for M.S. degree students more effective than for lower degrees.

Abstract: 

The current study aims at investigating the impact of Meimeh Islamic Azad University establishment on educational, socio-cultural, and economic dimensions of this district. The research method employed in this study was the electrical method. The statistical population consisted of the whole population of Meimeh district including the two urban and rural centers. Utilizing the Cohen, et al,'s sample estimating formula (2001), sample size has been estimated to be 360. Use has been made of relative-random sampling technique. Use has also been made of the available documents at the university pecuniary and educational affairs, as well as the traders guild to collect anthropological and complimentary data. To analyze the compiled data, some proper descriptive and inferential statistical operations consistent with the research purposes were performed. The results of the one-sample t-test indicate that the establishment of this university has greatly influenced the educational, socio-cultural, and economic dimensions of this district. However, the negative impacts of Islamic Azad University establishment regarding the increase in moral and behavioral problems of such establishment reveal that, this university with such payments as: direct and indirect taxes, insurance share, tolls and the like to state organizations and institutions, has played a significant role in boosting the financial resources of such organizations. It has also created an opportunity for a more effective bank deposit development, so the financial banking operations have been greatly influenced. Generally speaking, Meimeh Islamic Azad University, since its establishment, has positively and constructively influenced the growth and development of various educational and socio-cultural dimensions of this area, particularly for the girls and women residing in this area. It has caused a great deal of cultural exchange and development and increased the economic welfare level of the families as well.

Abstract: 

As a social phenomenon deeply intertwined with the economic and psychological fabric of different families, universities entrance exams (konkoor) in Iran tends not only to affect public secondary education but also gravely undermine creativity and mental health of the youth. This alarming situation calls for widespread research on the current system of student admission to higher education in a id to work out a concrete solution to this problem as one of the central issues need to be closely pursed by our higher education system. Based on theoretical and field surveys conducted on "konloor" by a group of researchers, the present research tries to primarily make a pathological study of the issue from various aspects, including family, psychological, academic and employment angles in order to thoroughly examine the system dealing with student admission. Furthemore numerous theories, such as reducing number of candidates, functional changes in higher education system making partial replacement of bachelor's courses with associate's courses, increasing seats to saturate eagerness for higher studies, have all been introduce as remedies paving the ground for elimination of "konkoor" in the long run. The closing part of this research winds up with some suggestions and comments on gradual elimination of universities entrance exams.
