Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of the teachers’ guide books for the sixth-grade science and mathematics courses in primary schools in Iran, according to the eight elements of curriculum development. This research was an applied and descriptive survey. The statistical population included all the educational experts and sixth grade primary school teachers in state schools in the second educational zone in Urmia. Of this population, 173 individuals (135 teachers, 38 experts) were randomly selected as the participants in the study. Data was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. Data analysis involved both descriptive (frequency, frequency percentage and average) and inferential (repeated measures ANOVA, and t-tests) statistics. The results revealed that both teachers and experts found the teachers’ guide books not equally effective with respect to the eight elements of curriculum development; purpose, content, teaching method, and evaluation method were respectively the first four significant elements to the participants and “ educational materials and resources” , and “ space and educational facilities” were correspondingly the seventh and eighth important elements. The differences between teachers' and experts point of views on the efficacy of math teaching guide book was significant at p ≤ 0. 05 level but for the science teaching guidance book it was not significant.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research is evaluation realization rate of thinking and research purposes of curriculum form viewpoints of sixth grade teachers in IZEH city from 1393-1394. This research was descriptive – survey. Statistical society consisted of 119 teachers of six grade which among them 90 teachers selected by simple random sampling. After choosing sample group by using research made questionnaire which had been provided according to LIKERT spectrum in five option information has been gathered and analysis. Validity of questionnaire was confirmed by experts and its reliability obtained by KRONBAKH alpha and it was. /. 88 one-variable T was used as the statistic method for data analysis. Results show that Purposes of Thinking and research curriculum is realization according to the views of six grade teachers of IZEH city. This means that from the viewpoint of teachers, the ability to infer, reason and conclude; curiosity; the acquisition of traits and characteristics of the nature of thinking; the acquisition of proper attitudes towards scientific findings; the ability to judge the actions and behaviors of themselves and others in students is higher than average.

Abstract: 

This study examined the impact of e-content design and production of multimedia design principles based on learning math, science students in sixth grade elementary. The method of quasi-experimental is pretestposttest design with control group. The study population consisted of all female students in the first grade of primary school and all of the 120 dead were selected by non-random. Data collection with pre-test and post-test agency Weber verified test to compare the scores of students is done. Sample into two groups (e-content) and control (conventional method) were divided. To analyze the data using Pearson and Spearman correlation, covariance, independent t-test (for comparing average scores between the two groups in the pre-test and post-test), t (compared to the average pretest courses and tests after the test in each group) were studied. The results showed that the use of electronic content on the academic achievement of students in the experimental group on math, science, to themselves as well as the experimental group compared with the control group, a significant difference in the achievement scores and grades the level of effortless.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the content of the manuals of the Middle School Physics Teacher Guide in Iran toward the dimensions of the nature of science. The data collection method was the latest mapping of the physics teacher's guide books, so the Physics Manual 2 (in 89) and physics 3 (in 89) and physics 4 (in year 94), which the Ministry of Education Based on the approved goals, it was selected. The research was qualitative and its method was content analysis was conducted using content oriented analysis. The paragraph was considered as analysis unit and analyzed in terms of categorization method in relation to the three general aspects of the nature of science including tentative, creative, and theory and law. The data was validated by the matching method. The results showed that in the textbooks of the teacher of high school physics, the aspects of the nature of science have been discussed, which is mainly the process of the implication, and the most emphasis on the tentative aspects of science, but the aspect of law and theory is not well introduced and explained.

Abstract: 

University and higher education system plays a critical role in training of human resource and providing of human capital. Farhangian University, as a new and innovative organization, was dedicated to attracting and educating student-teachers in pursuit of its strategic plan in the 1404 horizons. The purpose of the present study was to study of the status of the Farhangian University according to the experiences of student-teachers that was carried out in the form of a mixed project. The research method has been exploratory mixed method. In the qualitative section, the phenomenological method and in the quantitative part, a descriptive-survey method was used. The research population are comprised all university students of Farhangian University of sanandaj there are 1452 students based on the latest published statistics from the University. Research Method in Qualitative part Is Colaizzi Descriptive phenomenology, Semi-structured interviews is used to data collection and twenty student (in 2 college of farhangian) participate in the study and data collection is continued until the data reaches saturation. Statistical Society In the quantitative part was Includes 458 (160 female and 298 male) people of Students that accordance with Cochran formula and using a stratified sampling approach. In the Quantitative section Research Tools is a self-made questionnaire Consists of 7 parts and the content of this tolls is selected based on qualitative data and also subject literature. To analyze the data, Friedman and t tests were used. The results of the qualitative section showed that seven descriptive category (Educational status, Research function, Human resources potential, Space and equipment, Financial and administrative field, Curriculum and Input, Process and Output mechanisms. ) Quantitative data showed that gender and field of study had little effect on the priority of university weaknesses.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to design the teaching-learning strategies based on the differential instruction in the gifted student’ s schools of Isfahan. In order to run the research sequential explanatory mix method design is applied. The population of this study includes all the gifted students of Isfahan in the senior high school (1, 770 case). Sampling method in the qualitative section was typical sampling method. In the quantitative section, 315 case were selected randomly. The semi-structured interview method was used to collect data in the qualitative section and in the quantitative part a researcher-made questionnaire was extracted from the interview. To analyze the data in the qualitative section, thematic method and in the quantitative part confirmatory factor analysis, descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (single sample, independent t and ONOVA) have been used. The results indicated that the teaching strategies of learning in gifted schools included two general categories of technical aspect of teaching and the personality dimension of the teacher. In terms of technical teaching, the following categories were considered as usefulness, applying method, active learning, and a special method for each lesson, and in the dimensions of the teacher, the moral and personality dimensions of the interviews were extracted. The results of quantitative analysis of the questionnaire extracted from the interviews also showed that students of gifted schools agree with these cases. Comparing the views of boys and girls showed that girls were more likely to use the special method for each lesson than boys. Comparison based on the field of study showed that there was a significant difference between the students of different disciplines in the category of active strategies.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to examine the experience of creative activities of undergraduate students in mathematics and identify a model for better understanding of these activities. Data have been collected using a methodology approach based on grounded theory and semi-structured introspective interviews. The population is all students who study mathematics in one of the universities in Tehran. Thirteen math students volunteered to collaborate with purposeful and theoretical sampling. The data was analyzed through the free and axial coding process. To ensure the quality of research, the credibility, dependability, transferability and conformability criteria were used and the results were given in grounded theory systematic paradigm model which includes phenomenon, causal conditions, strategies, intervening factors, contextual conditions, context and consequences. The model shows there are several affecting factors involved in those activities.

Abstract: 

The goal of this article is to analyze the curriculum specialists’ professional responsibilities and identify its components. In terms of methodology, qualitative case study, and participants the study includes experts in the field of curriculum and higher education, twenty of whom were selected through sampling special cases and invited for participation. The data collection tool was the semi-structural interview. For analyzing the data obtained from the interview, the theme analysis method was used and the credibility of the findings was evaluated by the participants' reflection method. The findings showed that the curriculum specialists primarily have overall responsibility in educational system and learning, and they have the professional responsibility in the specialized field of curriculum. This overall responsibility includes components such as defending specialized field, influencing on decision-makers, performing the correct role, accountability, instruction and research and organizational commitment. The findings also indicate the nature of the professional responsibility of the curriculum is multidimensional and involves different aspects.

Abstract: 

In today's world, due to inefficiency of traditional curricula, the majority of educational institutions have turned to the competency-based curriculum development. The aim of this study is to evaluating the current status of the Information Technology engineering’ s curriculum which was done by descriptive-survey method. For this purpose, Of the total number of 120 students of Shiraz Industrial University, 35 students who were on the verge of graduation were selected by purposive approach and voter awareness sampling method. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire based on elements of CBC (goal, content, teaching-learning methods and evaluation) which was designed based on theorical and Research Foundations. After assessment of validity and reliability, scale was distributed between samples and data was analyzed by one sample run test and analysis of variance of repeated-measure test. Results showed that elements of the curriculum (goal, contents, teaching-learning methods and evaluation) are slightly able to create competency in students. According to the terms of competencies in students, there was no significant difference between the current situation of curriculums’ elemnts (goal, content, teaching-learning methods) students. However, the difference was statistically significant for the element of evaluation.

Abstract: 

The purpose of present study is to explain the concept of shadow curriculum in educational system of Iran. This study used qualitative method., the meaning of shadow in various fields of The science such as economics, politics, music, etc. have been investigated. its common characteristics were explained by Using meta-synthesis. In the next phase of the research, the views and theories of sociology, political and philosophical sciences related to the field of education are studied and to increase the conceptual richness of the research, and a better explanation of the conceptual framework for the shadow curriculum, with 8 experts in this field Interviews were conducted. Of these, three main themes are namely, why, how and what the concept of shadow or underground curriculum. The interview format was analyzed by thematic analysis method. according to results of the study, the main attribute of the shadow is Conflict with its reference. Accordingly, the the shadow curriculum can be defined as a set of activities that are performed by students, teachers, and administrators, and. . . in schools that are in contravention of the formal curriculum. In other words, shadow curriculum, is learning that is practiced, although not officially recognized as legitimate by the Official curriculum, but students and teachers defend it.
