Abstract: 

An issue of great concern in the current literature which has attracted the attention of a lot of managers and researchers is empowerment. Similarly, one of the recurrent technologies in the third millennium in banking industry is electronic banking which is increasing dramatically. This paper examines the relationship between these two fundamental challenges in Mellat Bank, Iran. To this end, a psychological empowerment model, namely, sprits was used and two questionnaires were developed and administered to 134 employees and 150 key customers of Mellat Bank of Zanjan county. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Given the correlational nature of the study, statistical analysis utilized included Spearman correlation coefficient. The results attested to a meaningful relationship between employees' empowerment and realization of electronic banking.

Abstract: 

Success or failure of organizations largely depends on the quality of their leadership. In order to achieve organizational goals, leaders utilize certain techniques and features, some of which have unique characteristics while others display special behaviors. The success of some techniques and features depends on their followers. In recent years, new approaches of leadership have been introduced including transformational leadership, servant leadership, and charismatic attributes. Among the new approaches to leadership, spiritual leadership has gained particular significance. In this article, the concepts and dimensions of spiritual leadership are reviewed and characteristics of spiritual leaders in Iran civil service from the experts' perspective are examined. At the end, using exploratory factor analysis, characteristics of spiritual leaders in Iran civil service have been reduced and grouped into five classes. These classes are: respect to organization benefits, respect to employee benefits, respect to society benefits, individual characteristics, and respect to self. The sum of these characteristics will form the spiritual leadership diamond.

Abstract: 

Approaches to the development and evolution of organization are associated with the needs, desires, interest and ideals of human beings. Although organization have played various roles over the course of the history, their performance has expanded in the present time and expectations from them have increased. On the other hand, in todays competitive world, organizations, at any domain of activity, need to improve their performance by taking all possible measures.One way of improving the performance of organizations is the investigation of factors likely to affect it. This which highlights the importance of intellectual capital. In addition to intra-organizational relations, any organization has some relations with the outside environment. These relations which are both impressible and impressive are the social capital of the organization. Thus given the importance of the effectiveness of intellectual and social capital in improving the performance of organizations, attempts have been made to present an appropriate model consisting of the intellectual Approach (with human structural and relational) and Social (with structure cognitive and relational) aspects for the improvement of export Development bank of Iran (EDBI). The research was of descriptive and analytic nature and the population for the study were the managers and the personnel of this organization. The results of the study confirmed that human-relation (intellectual capital) and cognitive relational (Social capital) dimensions have the most significant effects on performance.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of corporate governance mechanisms on the firms' capital structure in Tehran Stock Exchange. To this end, we studied 74 firms during 1383-1387 using Multiple Regression Model. More specifically, we examined Board Independence and Duality as an internal mechanism, and Institutional and Personal ownership as an external mechanism of Corporate Governance mechanisms. The results showed that there is a significant negative relationship between Board Independence and Capital Structure. Duality did not reveal a statistically significant relationship with Capital Structure. Also, Institutional and Personal ownership did not correlate with Capital Structure.

Abstract: 

The commercial exchanges between people, companies, people and companies, people and companies with governments, and so on is increasing rapidly. There is an obvious shift from using paper documents to exchanges using electronic information. The e-commerce is considered as a viable alternative due to its speed, efficiency, and low expenses. The insurance industry as one of the most dynamic business activities is not an exception. Information technology has various effects on different activities in the insurance industry. It gives flexibility to it, changes its system and enhances its movement beyond the existing limitations and traditional regulations. One of the implications of information and communication technology in insurance industry is the electronic insurance. The e-insurance in its general view intends to provide facilities for customers to get access to the insurance services through a safe intermediary phase and without physical attendance. The main issue in this study is the feasibility of presenting the existing insurance products through the Internet from operational, cultural, technical, and legal aspects at Parsian, Asia, Alborz, Razi, Tosse, Sina, and Moallem Insurance Companies. The hypotheses of the study were statistically tested using t-student and Wilcoxon tests. The results confirmed that the possibility of presenting the existing insurance products through the Internet from operational, cultural, technical, and legal aspects is still weak.

Abstract: 

This study examined the impact of IT on productivity of human resources in Qazvin Islamic Azad University. Given the applied nature of the study, a correlational design was adopted. Instrumentation included questionnaires and interviews. The sample included 169 staff and managers of Qazvin Islamic Azad University. Data analysis comprised descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using SPSS software. The findings confirmed the relationship between productivity of the staff in terms of the eight variables considered in this study and their degree of using IT. The results promise direct implications and suggestions for increasing productivity of human resources with regard to variables discussed in Qazvin Islamic Azad University. Finally, suggestions for future research are presented.

Abstract: 

Social capital is a multilateral concept. The literature on this concept will be promising and will reveal its diverse dimensions as well the relationship among its dimensions. In this research, social capital is used as an independent variable and the organizations' function as a dependent variable. The statistical sample consisted of the branches of Tejarat bank in qazvin province and the staff working at these branches. Methodology used in this research is of descriptive and linking kind and the method of collecting data is field-work. The most important purpose of this research was to probe the relationship between social capital and organization function in management of Tejarat bank branches. The findings suggest that there exists a positive direct relationship between sol capital and the organization function in the management of Tejarat bank branches of Qazvin province.

Abstract: 

This study investigated the mediating roles of utilitarian and hedonic value as influencing factors in shopping experience satisfaction in the relationship between involvement and consumers' buying tendencies including variety-seeking, compulsive and impulsive buying tendencies and price sensitivity for Manto and Shirt shoppers in the Iranian market. Results were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and parameters were estimated using maximum likelihood method. This study reveals that shopping satisfaction for Manto and Shirt shoppers is a response to different levels of utilitarian and hedonic value in a shopping trip. In other words, increasing consumers' shopping satisfaction could be manipulated by enhancing consumers' utilitarian and hedonic shopping value. In addition, the influence of involvement on shopping satisfaction is moderated through manipulating consumer buying tendencies and utilitarian and hedonic shopping value.
