Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Improving the skills of managers in organizations is actually one of the principled ways to guide the achievement of organizational goals. Benefiting from qualified and efficient managers can guarantee the security of the people of the society. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of validating the model of improving the skills of managers of police training complexes in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Method: The present study is applied in terms of purpose, and quantitative in terms of approach. The research tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical population of the study was 214 employees of NAJA training centers who were selected by stratified random sampling method using Cochran's formula. Structural equation tests were used to analyze the data using Emus software. Results: In the analysis of findings, social skills, general skills, psychological skills, self-knowledge, employee empowerment skills, environmental skills of managers had significant values. Skills ranking showed; Employee empowerment skills are in the first place and psychological skills are in the last place. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, it can be concluded that in order to improve the skills of managers of educational complexes of the police force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the authorities need to pay more attention to implementing the strategies identified in this study.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Systematic review of journals helps their editors to get the necessary information about the weaknesses and strengths of the journal by being aware of the status of the journal. The purpose of this study is to systematically review the articles published in the Quarterly of Police Management Studies during the five-year period 2016-2020. Method: This study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of method, which has been reviewed by this Journal with a systematic review approach. The statistical population of the study includes all articles published in the journal during the years 2016 to 2020 with 149 articles, all of which were selected as a statistical sample. Research data were collected using electronic versions of the journal and statistically analyzed using Excel software. Results: The data show that in the five years under review, 149 articles were published with the participation of 421 authors. In terms of gender, 94% of the authors are men and 6% are women. The highest frequency of article authors in terms of academic rank is related to assistant professors and the highest organizational frequency is from Amin Police University, Allameh Tabatabai and Islamic Azad University; articles outside the organization with 42% have the highest volume of published articles. The highest frequency of group participation of authors is related to two-authored articles with 45 and three-authored articles with 44 titles. 47% of the authors used quantitative research method and 32% used qualitative method. The highest frequency of references to Persian sources with 61% and English sources with 39% and the most important tool for data collection is a questionnaire. Conclusion: A systematic review of the Quarterly of Police Management Studies shows that this journal is in a relatively good position in the standard indicators of reviewing journals, but according to the new standards of the Ministry of Science, it should be strengthened in a number of indicators.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: One of the effective tools of human resources is paying attention to talent management, which creates a proper mechanism, creates a two-way commitment between management and the organization, which may lead to improving the quality of law enforcement services. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of talent management on the quality of law enforcement services in Karaj. Method: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in nature. The statistical population of this study was 146 senior officers and heads of police stations in Karaj city, of which 106 people were selected using Morgan table by simple random sampling. Correlation coefficient and regression statistical tests were used to analyze the data. Results: The results showed that in the talent management variable, the highest average is related to talent retention and talent selection and the highest average in the dimension of service quality is related to reliability indicators and tangible physical evidence. The results also showed that the dimensions of talent management significantly improve the quality of law enforcement services (P 05 0. 05). Conclusion: The results of the research indicate the need to discover the existing talents in the disciplinary command of Karaj city and use them optimally to provide desirable services to citizens.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Job performance is an organizational and institutional action and refers to the concept of productivity and effectiveness or job outcome in an organization. Organizational job performance is influenced by job norms, internal and external group capital, organizational trust and social relations in a set and its effects are creativity, innovation and organizational prosperity. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to explain the factors affecting the job performance of law enforcement officers of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Method: The method of conducting meta-analysis research is quantitative. The purpose of this method is to integrate, systematically review and standardize studies conducted in a particular field of research. The statistical population is 43 studies in which 32 samples of research documents were selected with the aim of combining and identifying the extent of its impact. Results: The analytical findings of the study indicate that the job performance of NAJA employees as the main dependent variable is affected by organizational, moral, occupational, psychological, social capital factors and in total these variables have been able (Effect size = 0. 297, Z = 48. 485) And sig = 0. 000) explain the job performance of NAJA staff. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be concluded that improving the job performance of staff and manpower in the police force under the influence of the six components can help to improve and develop the institutional set of the police.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: The present study aimed to investigate the capabilities of leadership successors in carrying out organizational missions of the police force of the Islamic Republic of Iran to determine which missions by leadership successors can be implemented in the NAJA. Leadership successors are characterized by factors such as personal, occupational, organizational, and value characteristics that make leadership necessary in many unnecessary situations. Method: The research method is applied in terms of purpose and quantitative in terms of the nature. The statistical population of the study includes experts, managers and staff experts of the police force and its statistical sample includes 7 organizational experts and 54 staff managers and 200 staff experts of the police force who were selected by simple and accessible sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data, whose face and content validity was confirmed by experts and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0. 85. Also, one-sample t-test and independent t-test were used to analyze the data. Results: This study showed that value trait can be considered as a successor to leadership in all NAJA missions; But individual character cannot play a role as a successor to any of the missions. The results also showed that there is no significant difference between the current and desired situation in the studied areas (p <0. 05). Conclusion: In line with the obtained results, it is suggested to hold specialized courses and workshops to promote creativity and self-fulfillment to empower employees to research the various dimensions of leadership in the organization.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Sustained security is possible through the cooperation of the people with the police, and in this cooperation, the manner of communication, performance and appropriate and effective behavior of the police with the citizens, plays a key role; Therefore, scientific identification and presentation of a practical model of transformation strategies in the relationship and behavior of police officers and police stations as the main purpose of this study, can help the police in this regard. Method: This research utilized a mixed method (qualitative-quantitative). In order to confirm the enumerated components and assess the validity and reliability of the model, a researcher-made questionnaire was compiled and the collected data were used for confirmatory factor analysis. The statistical population includes experts, commanders and heads of prevention police and police stations of the Special Police Command in the west of Tehran province. In the first stage, 35 people and in the validity determination stage, 70 experts and specialists were selected as a sample as a purposeful method. Content validity was used to ensure the validity of the questionnaire and Cronbach's alpha coefficient method was used to assess the reliability of the scales used. Results: Based on the results of factor analysis, the amount of factor load of all factors affecting the behavioral change of employees including belief factors, management and role of commanders, psychological factors, training, organizational structure and job, supervision and control and extra-organizational factors greater than 0. 40 and It is desirable. Conclusion: In general, based on the findings and results of the study, three categories of factors (believing, motivating and inhibiting) affect the behavioral evolution of police officers that the correct, effective and synergistic interaction of these factors, stabilizes and strengthens constructive, acceptable and standard behaviors. And the elimination of problematic and problematic behaviors in the organization becomes NAJA.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Today, various groups in society use cyberspace to publish calls for illegal gatherings, followed by protests. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to predict protest flows in cyberspace based on data mining. Method: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method, in which the information data in documents, organizational documents as well as decentralized databases in police operational categories have been used. The statistical population of the study is all the information data of illegal gatherings in cyberspace that were used for sampling of data processing method and in full. In order to predict and prevent crime, using Rapid Miner software as an open source data mining tool in Java, we first identify the main components of illegal aggregation calls in cyberspace, the relationships between the components identified in the data, and the data in the data analysis. Results: Among the various implemented models, the decision tree model with 91. 39% accuracy provided the highest result for the data and predicted the occurrence of protest flows, and its most important achievements were designing a model for predicting illegal gatherings and determining the effective components in The occurrence of rallies is illegal. Conclusion: The components of "thinking attitude of the publisher of the calls, the number of visits of the calls, the subfield of the calls and the number of members of the sources and targets had the most to the least impact on the occurrence of illegal rallies and protests; In other words, the ideological attitude of the publisher of the calls has a direct role in creating rallies, and the police can focus on it to predict the possibility of illegal rallies.
